My Plan - Arbonne Healthy Living

My Plan - Arbonne Healthy Living

After having a baby it became increasingly difficult to lose the extra pounds. For one, I was breastfeeding which made me constantly hungry. For two, I was so busy (and still am) doting on my child that I had little to no time to exercise. For three, not only do I not have time to exercise, I definitely do not have the time (or patience) to count calories or points!

So what is there left to do???

Enter Arbonne:

A friend of mine noticed my woeful statuses on Facebook about not being able to lose the weight and being an Arbonne consultant she gave me the info that was exactly what I needed! I always thought Arbonne was just skin and beauty products. I had no idea that they were 100% natural products including consumable products for a healthy lifestyle! My mind was blown when I was told that Arbonne offers a FREE healthy meal plan as well as awesome products to help you along the way. I was SOLD! So are you intrigued? Well lucky for you i am going to share the same info on this post! Check it out:

****DISCLAIMER*****

I am not a distributor of Arbonne (yet!) so I do not receive any compensation for sharing this info. I am just super excited about it! However, if you would be interested in any of the products let me know and I can hook you up with a discount!

Step 1) Eliminate Allergenic And Toxic Ingredients in Your Diet:
  • Wheat/Gluten
  • Dairy
  • Sugar
  • Alcohol
  • Coffee (don't stop reading yet!)
  • Vinegar

Step 2) Eat Every 4-6 Hours With no Snacking in Between

  • 1pm - Healthy Meal
  • 6pm - Healthy Meal

Step 3) Eat in The Proper Portions

And that's it! Just 3 easy steps! Now before you freak out....here is a list of stuff you CAN eat and also stuff to replace your favs such as coffee, alcohol, sugar and dairy:

Good Carbs:

Good Fat:

Replacements:

  • Dairy - Remove Milk, Cheese, Yogurt Butter. Replace with - Almond Milk, Rice Milk, Coconut Milk

Fat Free is bad???

A friend of mine just made me aware that they now are saying that fat free dairy is actually bad for because they add chemicals in order to make it taste better!

I guess you should actually just stick to low-fat rather than fat free. I had not heard this before so I am glad that she told me! I guess I need to get rid of my skim milk and fat free cottage cheese and stick to 1% milk fat from now on!

I could not find an online article confirming this, but it makes enough sense to me to switch. I will continue to look for an article to share with all of you and will post it when I find it!

I'm Back!

I am no longer pregnant and am back in the weight-loss game! I gave birth to my beautiful little baby boy Cullen William on Valentine's Day and I couldn't be happier! One thing I am not happy about however is my weight. :(

Cullen was a big baby and I gained a lot of weight with the pregnancy. I reached up to 214 lbs.! As of last Friday I weighed 176 lbs. That is a loss of 38 lbs. which is great but  I am still not even at my per-pregnancy weight of 167 lbs. yet.

As of Friday I am back on Weight Watchers and have been doing great so far. As you know, the Points Plus program allows everyone to have 26 points and day and 49 extra points a week. Since I am nursing my son and burn an extra 500 cals every day just from doing that, I decided to add an extra 20 points to my daily total and am just going to see how I lose with that. Weight Watchers does not condone nursing mothers being on their diet so I am just going to have to play around with points.

So I am back and need you all to help me stay on track! I would love to hear about all of your weight loss goals and healthy recipes! I will do my best to post updates every day as well as healthy recipes, exercise tips, and much more! Good luck everyone! :)

PS. I will be re-vamping my site soon so look out for changes!

**Disclaimer: If you are a nursing mother and want to do Weight Watchers please make sure to add extra points as you see fit and don't go hungry! Your baby needs all of the extra calories he/she can get so please don't deprive your baby just because you want to lose weight!**

Yum! Heathly Breakfast

So now that I am pregnant and had been battling nausea, I don't always want to eat right when I get up in the morning. I need to be eating small meals every couple of hours, but I just didn't have much for breakfast besides cereal which was getting boring. I grabbed a few WW yogurts and found some really great flavors! One of my absolute favorites is the Apple Pie a la Mode flavor:

The name says it all; it tastes just like apple pie! It even has little chunks of apples in it! Soooo good! To top it all off it is only 2 WW PP Points! :)
I eat this with a banana and a glass of skim milk and my breakfast is set!
